You're invited to the Bookworm Festival! This free, family-friendly, and fully bilingual event celebrates emerging readers and those who create books for them. Join us for a day of reading and interactions with award-winning authors and illustrators!

Through a series of author/illustrator panels, readers will hear new books, have the chance to ask questions, and learn from our amazing presenters. After the panel sessions, readers can get books signed by the authors and illustrators, chat with them personally, and take pictures. 

Registration is free, but required. Please register to join us here! (Registration will open on January 8.)

Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Librarians and language arts teachers from across Houston comprise the steering committee for this event, which was started in 2014. Their goal is to connect emerging readers with authors to foster the joy of reading. We hope you'll join us!
