Calling all mystery, thriller, and horror readers! Blue Willow (or is it Boo Willow?) invites you to "Scary Saturday," a special celebration of these beloved genres.

On October 19, join us in the bookshop to browse a curated selection of mystery, thriller, and horror titles. Our booksellers will be ready with staff picks and personalized recommendations, and we'll look forward to hearing about your favorites, too.

We also have some fun activities planned! Put your sleuthing skills to the test with our puzzle challenge. If you solve it, you'll be entered for a chance to win one of two gift baskets!

We'll also have three "red herrings" hidden throughout the store. If you find one, you will receive a $20 gift card to the bookshop!

It won't all be tricks, though: we'll also have tasty treats (including a gluten free option) available from local custom dessert shop Sugar and Joy Confections.

Costumes and genre t-shirts encouraged! We can't wait to see you there, friends.
