Peter L. Scamardo II is an author based out of San Antonio, Texas. A Houston native, he now works as a copy editor at the San Antonio Express-News. His non-fiction work has appeared in the Houston Chronicle, Austin American-Statesman, Dallas Morning News, Victoria Advocate and Corpus Christi Caller-Times. His sports journalism has been awarded by the Associated Press Sports Editors. The Boys in the Brazos River Bottom is his first novel.
