Martin J. Siegel practices and teaches law in Houston. After clerking for Judge Kaufman, he served as an Assistant US Attorney in Manhattan and on the staff of the US Senate Judiciary Committee. His writing has been published in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Houston Chronicle, and legal journals.

Bill Monroe recently retired from the University of Houston where he was professor of English and Ralph O’Connor Abendshein Professor and Dean of the Honors College. He has conducted numerous public conversations and interviews with scholars and writers for Inprint. Like Martin Siegel, he was a student of R.J. Kaufmann at the University of Texas and, after serving as news editor of The Liberty Vindicator, of Wayne C. Booth at the University of Chicago.
