Robert C. Kelly received his B.S. from the United States Military Academy (USMA) and obtained an MPA and PhD in Economics from Harvard University. After a 13-year career in the US Army including a tour in Vietnam and as an Associate Professor of Social Sciences at USMA, he held executive positions in the corporate world including positions at Continental Resources, Houston Natural Gas, GE, Enron, DKRW Energy, Mexico Pacific Limited, and XTS Energy. He is on the Board of XTS Energy, CountryWatch.com, Inc. and on the Financial Review Board of Investopedia and The Balance. He has served as an Executive Professor at the Texas A&M Mays Business School, and an Adjunct Lecturer in Energy Economics at the University of Houston and Rice University. He currently resides in Houston with his wife Helen.
