Meet five Latina authors using their stories to claim joy and power for their communities. These members of Las Musas Latinx Author Collective will discuss the process of bringing their life journey and cultural experiences into their books. They will also open up about crafting stories that are as quirky, complex and colorful as they are.

Las Musas is the first collective of women and non binary (identifying on the female spectrum) Latinx MG and YA authors to come together in an effort to support and amplify each other’s debut or sophomore novels in US children’s literature. You can learn more about them and their mission here.
